We visited here Saturday for afternoon tea for my aunties birthday. It was all pre booked as we were and any requests we had beforehand were made with no issue. The tea and food we all had were lovely, finger sandwiches were served first then we were served with scones and a lovely selection of sweet treats. The kids had pancakes with fruit and milkshakes made with ice cream so they were happy too. We drove from London which took an hour to get there so glad it was worth it! Plenty of parking on side roads and in front of it ur lucky.

We can't thank you enough Wood Cottage Tea Room for looking after us and for ensuring we had all our dietary needs met. The food for our afternoon tea was delicious and of top standards - thank you Steve the Chef for such wonderful sarnies, scones and cakes. We look forward to visiting again.

A beautiful little cafe/patisserie with an excellent breakfast menu, first class cappuccinos plus an enticing selection of 'calorie-busting' cakes, all served by the friendliest staff. The warm atmosphere of the old building makes for a comfortable place to relax. Caution for those over 6ft 2in due to low beams, but after ducking, simply enjoy .
